Doctor of Jurisprudence with a Part-Time Hybrid Enrollment Option

Have you been searching for flexible, hybrid, or part-time law schools online? Well, look no further! At Lincoln Memorial University, we strategically designed the Part-Time/Hybrid JD program to benefit students who don't have the time or availability to attend law school in the traditional sense, but who still seek access to an excellent, top-rate program of study and a rich in-depth curriculum that covers all their bases.

Explore and make the most of our extensive coursework with the help of our diverse and highly skilled faculty and staff. With backgrounds in family law, criminal law, corporate law, estate planning and more, they will leave no stone unturned when it comes to providing you with the resources you need.

Among Tennessee-based online law schools and beyond, our JD program is one of the most accessible if you're seeking a law degree but aren't able to attend in-person classes every day. So, what exactly does that look like?

After completing orientation, you will attend classes on-campus for no more than two long weekends a semester, with your fourth year taught entirely online. Aside from the occasional in-person class, we wanted to provide you with the option for not only a long-distance law degree, but the opportunity to study when it works best for you. With the size of your first-year cohort being limited to just 25 students, admission is competitive, but you will also receive the personalized attention that every high-quality education strives to provide.

To achieve this, we sought to offer an innovative approach to legal education. So, we designed our online sessions to be completed in an asynchronous manner to ensure that you can work at your own pace instead of working within the confines of a rigid class schedule or having to attend classes at set times. While it may seem too good and convenient to be true, we are proud to assure that our JD program is an ABA-approved hybrid law school.

LMU Law has received an acquiescence change from the Council to offer the Part-time Hybrid JD Program.

Some law schools may NOT accept transfer credits from this program, though each jurisdiction sets its own criteria for admission to the bar and to sit for its bar examination. When applying for the Part-Time/Hybrid J.D. Program, we recommend that you check with the jurisdictions where you seek admission to the bar to ensure that graduating from our program will make you eligible for taking the bar exam and being admitted to the bar in those jurisdictions.
